Last night I had That Dream. You know, the one where you show up to a final exam without having studied at all or attended any of the classes. I haven't had That Dream in years. Motivating.
I had it regularly for probably 10 years after I got my degree. It's been a while though.
I'm sure I had it last night because yesterday I was looking at an online copy of an ECO 304K final (see http://is.gd/fIWJ) and didn't know the answers to most of the questions. That's OK though. I have 15 weeks of classes to learn that stuff. :-)
Hi, I'm Charlie Wood. I'm the founder and former CEO of Spanning (acquired by EMC), a married father of two, a native Texan and Austinite, and the oldest guy in most of my classes at UT, where I'm adding an economics major to my computer science degree.
For more about my re-entry into academic life, read this blog's inaugural post.

I constantly have that dream...on occasion I have to dig out my diploma to prove to myself that I actually finished college.
